How do I bookmark a link on my mobile phone or add my SignUp to my phone's home screen?

Participants who want extra quick access to their SignUps can add links to their SignUps on their mobile device home screen or bookmark links to SignUp.

First, to get started, find the SignUp invitation to save on the home screen or to bookmark in your browser. 

CaSe SenSitiVe SignUp invitation links look like this:  www.signup.com/go/XXXXXXXX (with 7-8 characters after /go/).

A Participant may bookmark the Shareable Invitation Link to any SignUp or Group Page (a link shared in a newsletter or on social media), or their Personal Invitation Link to any SignUp.

Get sent new Personal Invitation Links by clicking here, or look in any Confirmation or Reminder email sent from [e-mail] -- for a link that says: 

Then right click on "View/Change My Commitments" and choose "Copy Link Address".  This is your personal link which is tied to the specific SignUp and your unique email address.

Next, add a direct link to your phone's home screen:

iPhone: (from an Apple support document)

1. 1. Open the Safari app on your iPhone.
   2. Go to the SignUp page you want to add to your Home Screen.
   3. Tap in the menu bar at the bottom of the web screen. 
   4. Scroll down the list of options, then tap Add to Home Screen.

1. 1. Open the Chrome app on your handset and navigate to the link I just sent you.
   2. Once the website loads, open Chrome’s Settings menu by tapping the three vertical dots found in the top-right corner.
   3. In Settings Click the Add to home screen option. A preview of the icon will then be displayed on the screen. Click the Add button
   4. A new screen that will allow you to place the icon automatically or choose where to place it. On this “Add To Home Screen” screen, you’ll see a preview of the shortcut’s icon. Tap the “Add Automatically” button to place the new icon on your Android device’s Home Screen wherever space is available.

Create, view & edit bookmarks

Let Chrome remember your favorite and frequently visited websites. When you sync to Chrome, you get saved items, like bookmarks and passwords, on all your devices.

 

Add a bookmark

1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Chrome app .
2. Go to a site you want to visit again in the future.
3. To the right of the address bar, tap More   Star .

Open a bookmark

1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Chrome app .
2. At the top right, tap More   Bookmarks.
   • If your address bar is at the bottom, swipe up on the address bar. Tap Star .
3. Find and tap a bookmark.

Edit a bookmark

To the right of a bookmark, tap More   Edit.

 

Delete a bookmark

Important: After you delete a bookmark, you can't get it back. To the right of a bookmark, tap More   Delete.

Rearrange your bookmarks

1. On your Android device, open the Chrome app .
2. At the top right, tap More   Bookmarks.
3. Touch and hold the bookmark that you want to move.
4. Drag the bookmark up or down.

Bookmark a website in Safari on iPhone

In the Safari app , you can bookmark a website, add a website to Favorites, or add a website icon to the Home Screen to easily revisit later.

Bookmark a favorite website

Touch and hold , then tap Add Bookmark.

View and organize your bookmarks

1. Tap .
2. Tap Edit, then do any of the following:
   • Create a new folder: Tap New Folder at the bottom left, enter a name, then tap Done.
   • Move a bookmark into a folder: Tap the bookmark, tap below Location, then tap a folder. Tap  to return to your bookmarks.
   • Delete bookmarks: Tap , then tap Delete.
   • Rename bookmarks: Tap the bookmark, enter a new name, then tap Done.
   • Reorder bookmarks: Touch and hold , then drag the bookmark to a new location.
