Participants (Volunteers / Parents)
If a SignUp day is being edited by an Organizer, participants will see a lock icon next to the SignUp button.
Hovering over the lock will display this message, "This SignUp is currently being edited by an Organizer"
If you see this message, contact your SignUp Organizer or try again later once the edits are complete.
Organizers
This message appears when the system detects that you, the Organizer, are still editing your SignUp. If you're not actively editing, this may have happened due to:
- Your browser closing before you clicked Save
- A brief internet disruption that prevented the save from completing
Your SignUp will automatically reset within an hour, allowing participants to sign up again—no action needed.
How to Manually Reset your SignUp
If you want to reset your SignUp immediately, follow these steps:
- Start by going to the Spots tab of your SignUp's Organizer view. (Login and from your Dashboard tab click the SignUp Title in the My SignUps area.)
- Click on the date in question to open it the list of Spots.
- Open any Spot by clicking the three-dot (...) menu and selecting Edit.
- On the next screen, scroll to the bottom of the page then click Save and Save this date.
- Click "Back to Dashboard" or "Back to My SignUps" in the top left of the screen to close the SignUp
Prevent This in the Future
- Always Save individual Spots
- Click "Back to Dashboard" or "Back to My SignUps" in the top left of the screen to close the SignUp.
Test It!
To test to see if your SignUp is reset, find your SignUp in either the Dashboard of My SignUp tab and click the orange "Preview" link and view the spots on the date that was previously in edit mode.
