You can schedule an individual Spot (job, item, or shift) to span overnight with a few simple adjustments.
For example, if a shift starts at 8 PM on Saturday Feb. 22 and ends at 9 AM on Sunday, follow these steps:
- Add a Spot and set the Start Time to 8 PM.
- Set the End Time to 9 AM (the following morning).
- If you see a system warning indicating that the start time appears earlier than the end time, simply proceed with selecting the correct start date (Saturday, 22nd)—the system will recognize it as an overnight shift.
In the Spot's extra details section, consider writing a note to clarify that this in an overnight shift so Participants don't have any surprises. Click the blue Save button to complete your plans.
Note: If you're using the Add Shifts button in Step 1 to create a series of Spots, and just one shift spans past midnight, end your series at the end time before the over-midnight shift and Save the entire series. Once saved, separately click Add a Spot to add your last overnight shift.
